Hunters Group Ltd was founded by Mark Opida and Elissa Chua, who began their career as a sole trader in the building and property industry. Over the years, Mark worked with multiple tradespeople across Auckland and gained firsthand experience of the challenges clients face when dealing with different contractors. He saw both the good and the bad — and out of that experience, he carefully built a network of directors and project managers who are now united under Hunters Group.

This team is what makes Hunters different. Each director operates their own company in their field of expertise — building, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, painting, and maintenance — but under Hunters they work together as one. Clients are guaranteed accountability, leadership, and quality across every trade.
